High Concept: Set in the small town of Messina Colorado, the first week of July 1945, between VE Day and VJ Day.

Directors Concept: Balancing roles in a time of change.

Designers Concept: Blooming love

• I captured the visual image of a meadow or hillside full of wildflowers by using floral motifs to reflect the setting.

• This helped me establish a muted color palate to capture a feeling of nostalgia.

• I also incorporated subtle Renaissance fashion details to give a nod to the original time period of the text.
